A little about me

I'm so happy you're here! I'm Sammy, a 32 year old artist living between Asheville and Hendersonville, North Carolina. I want my paintings to feel like a memory; each one sparking the warmth of nostalgia or the joy and whimsy we need to notice in the world.

I love anythings soft and cozy - blankets, my sweet dog Lucy, a hot beverage, Hallmark movies :) You can categorize my hobbies in the "things Jane Austen characters did in the 1800s" (ie. reading, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, taking walks). I also enjoy savoring each season by finding the best activities to stay grounded in the present.
