PARK IMPROVEMENTS UPDATE

CORAL REEF PARK PLAYGROUND CLOSURE: Starting Tuesday, November 12, 2024, and until further notice, sections of the Playground at Coral Reef Park will be closed due to the construction of the new Recreation Center. Entrance to the playground will be detoured through the 152nd street sidewalk. In addition, this will include modifications to the main parking lot circulation. Please use caution when visiting the park.

Yoga by the Bay

Enjoy relaxing yoga classes by the bay Sundays at Thalatta Estate Park. Instructors lead participants through a variety of breathing, energizing, restorative, relaxation and meditation practices. $6 + convenience fee per person/class. NOTE: Registration closes the Friday before the Yoga class at 3pm and reopens the Monday following the class.

Light Up Your Holidays

Kick off your Holiday season with this fun and festive event for all ages. Featuring dance and musical performances, food and craft vendors, snow flurries, letters to Santa, a 40-foot Christmas tree lighting and more, this annual event won't disappoint. Parking Shuttle from Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Saint Richard Catholic School is provided from 5:30-10pm. Mark your calendar so you don't miss this opportunity to celebrate together!

Buddy Bench Unveiling

Join our Youth Community Involvement Task Force in bringing a Buddy Bench to Coral Reef and Palmetto Bay Parks. As a part of the My Buddy Bench Project, the task force endeavors to make our community a friendlier place. The unveilings will take place at Coral Reef Park at 10am and Palmetto Bay Park at 11am.

Swearing-In Ceremony

Please join us for the Swearing-In Ceremony for newly elected Vice Mayor Mark Merwitzer and Re-elected District 2 Councilmember Steve Cody. Light refreshments will be provided.

2024 State of the Village Address

Join us as Mayor Karyn Cunningham presents the 2024 State of the Village Address at beautiful Thalatta Estate on December 11th from 7:30-10:30pm.
