ANNOUNCEMENTS

CORAL REEF PARK PLAYGROUND & TENNIS COURTS CLOSURE: Beginning October 29, 2025, and continuing until the end of December, the playground and Tennis Courts at Coral Reef Park will be closed for renovations.

CORAL REEF PARK AFTER HOUR WORK (SW 152nd STREET): Nighttime construction work will take place between 7:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. within the right-of-way along SW 152nd Street, adjacent to Coral Reef Park. This work is part of the installation of a new water line for the upcoming Recreation Center. The water line construction is tentatively scheduled to begin November 5 and is expected to take approximately one week to complete.

Please exercise caution when visiting the park, as traffic and parking lot circulation patterns may be temporarily modified during this period.

Yoga by the Bay

Enjoy relaxing yoga classes by the bay Sundays at Thalatta Estate Park. Instructors lead participants through a variety of breathing, energizing, restorative, relaxation and meditation practices. $6 + convenience fee per person/class. NOTE: Registration closes the Friday before the Yoga class at 3pm and reopens the Monday following the class.

Fall Recycling Drive-Thru

Our Fall Recycling Drive-Thru takes place on November 8th from 10am-1pm at Palmetto Bay Village Hall. Drop off old electronics, used pens and pencils, plastic bags and bubble wrap. Dispose of expired or unwanted prescription drugs and your household hazardous waste such as pesticides, bleach, paint, batteries, and light bulbs. Shred your sensitive documents and donate gently used clothing. Open to RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES. Please be prepared to show proof of residency with your driver's license.

First Responder's Appreciation Day Lunch

We invite first responders to our First Responders Appreciation Lunch on November 18th at the Palmetto Bay Park Recreation Room from 12-2pm. A meal, provided in part by Giardino, will be provided to honor your bravery and dedication. Take out or eat on-site. Please RSVP.

Join us as Mayor Karyn Cunningham presents the 2025 State of the Village Address at Palmetto Bay Park on December 11th from 6-8pm. Ballpark refreshments will be served. RSVP by December 3rd. Palmetto Bay Park Legacy Bricks

Dig Like Kim Volleyball Scholarship

The Dig Like Kim volleyball scholarship application is open for 2026. Grants are open to Miami-Dade Public School boy and girl volleyball players in 9th -11th grade. Apply by March 27, 2026.
